I have run Upset Rapid on the Colorado River in Grand Canyon National Park three times. This time it looked super mean. Forest here nailed the perfect line with a great run pulling hard away from the wall and the maw on the far side of the river.
Photography Tip: That look of concern and purpose in Forest's eyes here are the reason why I chose this frame over all of the others. When I am sorting through my action sports photos I always looking for the right facial expression and the thus the right emotion. Facial expressions change quickly though so shooting a burst of frame greatly improves your odds of capturing that perfect look.
