The sunsets over the geothermal pools at Norris Geyser Basin in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming.
Photography tip: If you are going to shoot directly into the sun then close your lens down to its smallest aperture to create a the starburst pattern. Shooting directly into the sun with your smallest aperture will create a starburst flare pattern. Hiding part of the sun behind a solid object like the distant horizon will make this effect even more noticeable.
I am leading another Yellowstone National Park Photography Workshop this September with the local expert Dr. Jim Halfpenny. This will be a small group field photography experience with lots of hands-on instruction. Space is limited. To register go to http://bit.ly/1mePv3b
