DMarx-2014-02-04-7430-Edit-Along The Winter Walkway To Grand Prismatic Hot Springs.jpg
Fresh snow blankets the winter walkway up to Grand Prismatic Hot Springs in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. In the winter this is a bizarre fascinating land of snow, ice, and rising geothermal steam.
Photography Tip: Benches and chairs are wonderful subjects to photograph. I believe that they tell our viewer's eyes to slow down.

I believe that working benches and chairs in our compositions subconsciously tells our audience that this is a place where you should stop, sit down, and hangout for a while. And the longer I can your attention, the stronger my image!
I will be leading another Yellowstone in Winter Photography Workshop this February. This small group field photography adventure is a great opportunity to see the world's first National Park in its quietest season. More details at http://bit.ly/1NKVay2
