When I look at this photo I see the influence of my good friend, and master landscape photography instructor, Tim Cooper. I have learned to compose reflection shots like this one with rocks, or some small element in the water, from Tim's lessons. Including those little rocks in the foreground help to "ground" the image and they break up the cloud / lake perfect mirror pattern. Including something in foreground of my compositon helps to differentiate the sky from its reflection and makes each part of the photo more visually unique.
